July 26 - revisited

On July 26, I went on a walk with my family. A stroll around our yard and field.  The guys wanted to show us gals something fascinating. 

Here it is:

 Do you see a "lobster tail"? What about the see-through wings?  Yet it is mothy.

This we discovered, is a hummingbird moth.  We love these little winged moths.  They were fascinating to watch.  Simply said, we were amazed.
